On this date in Mason County Royals basketball history

1967: Fred Hester scores a career-high 31 points in a 75-50 win over Bath County.
2022: The Royals defeated Calloway County 61-57 in the quarterfinal round of the Kentucky 2A Championships State Tournament. It was the Royals' first appearance in the tournament.
