Mason County freshman Braeden Myrick made a school-record 11 3-pointers in the Mason County's Royals' 93-72 win over the Fleming County Panthers on February 16.
Myrick broke the previous school record of 10 treys which was set by Braylon Hamilton during the 2022-23 season.

Players and coaches on Mason County's 2023 2A state championship team received their rings during a pregame ceremony on December 8.

Terrell Henry (class of 2023) is 6th on the Royals' all-time scoring list with 1,871 career points. He scored a career-high 44 points vs. Scott his junior season. Henry had 712 career rebounds. He was the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches 10th Region Co-Player the Year in 2023 and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball. Henry played for the Kentucky All-Stars in the 30th Annual BSN Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game.
