Braylon Hamilton (class of 2024) is 27th on the Royals' all-time scoring list with 1.006 points. He made 10 3-poimters and scored a career-high 30 points vs. Nicholas County his junior season. Hamilton made 180 3-pointers in four seasons at Mason County.

Braeden Myrick makes a school-record 11 3-pointers

Mason County freshman Braeden Myrick made a school-record 11 3-pointers in the Mason County's Royals' 93-72 win over the Fleming County Panthers on February 16. 

Myrick broke the previous school record of 10 treys which was set by Braylon Hamilton during the 2022-23 season.

Terrell Henry is 6th on the Royals' all-time scoring list

 

Terrell Henry (class of 2023) is 6th on the Royals' all-time scoring list with 1,871 career points. He scored a career-high 44 points vs. Scott his junior season. Henry had 712 career rebounds. He was the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches 10th Region Co-Player the Year in 2023 and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball. Henry played for the Kentucky All-Stars in the 30th Annual BSN Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game.

Royals win 2023 2A state championship

The Mason County Royals are the 2023 2A state champions. The Royals edged the Lexington Catholic Knights 40-39 in the championship game of the Kentucky 2A Championships at the Owensboro Sportscenter on Sunday afternoon.
