Dorian Henry is 22nd on the Royals' all-time scoring list
Dorian Henry (class of 2015) is 22nd on the Royals' all-time scoring list with 1,101 career points. He averaged 21 points a game and led Mason County in scoring his senior season. Henry scored a career-high 35 points vs. Holmes. He led the state in field goal percentage (71.5%) during the 2014-15 regular season. Henry was the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches 10th Region Player of the Year and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball. Henry had 515 career rebounds. (Updated on April 11, 2022)
The 2009-10 season was the 50th for the Mason County Royals. I blogged about the Royals' history throughout the season. I will continue to add photos, the team rosters for subsequent seasons and update records in earlier posts. I gathered the information from a number of sources including the Mason County record book compiled by Tony Sapp and Rick Swartz, old score books, old newspaper stories and my own score sheets and journals.
