On this date in Mason County Royals basketball history

1971, Mason County beats Tates Creek 79-59-the start of a 26-game winning streak.
1991, The Royals open the season with an 85-47 win over Tollesboro for their first win under Coach Fred Hester and their first win after the merger with Maysville.
1993, Down by 13 with 5:34 to play, the Royals rally to beat Fairfield, Ohio 63-61 in the Take it to the Hoop Classic at the Shoemaker Center in Cincinnati. It’s the program’s 700th win.
